New Business Administration Program Approved by State Education Department
A new program in Business Administration was approved by the New York State Education Department last week, allowing East Greenbush Central School District to offer a sequence that leads to a diploma certification and college credit in three additional courses.

Health History Review Schedule for Fall Sports
All students who wish to play interscholastic sports this fall must be certified by the school nurse at a Health History Review in August. The school nurse will review each student’s health record and notify them whether a physical exam (to be done at a later date) is necessary.

Columbia Grad Makes Broadway Debut
Columbia alumnus Dan Macke ’14 made his debut performance on Broadway earlier this month in the Tony Award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen.” As an understudy, he filled the role of Connor Murphy on July 14 in front of family and friends at the Music Box Theatre on West 45th Street in Manhattan.

District Adds New Security System for Visitors
All parents and visitors will notice a new security procedure when school starts in September. Any visitor who enters an East Greenbush Central School District building will be asked by the reception area secretary to provide a valid state-issued license or a military, law enforcement or government-issued identification.
